Early Easter

Since we will be out of town Easter weekend, Me, Corban and Jayce decided to make a Bunny House and Easter cookies early so I could get in on the fun! We started Friday with the Bunny House. It didn't take us long but we had lots of fun making it! Corban liked licking the frosting and tasting each of the candies before decorating the house. I have to admit that Jayce and I licked our fingers as well!! We got one good picture of the house before it collapsed. We were able to put it back together again but it was a little crooked but it still tasted great.
After dinner we decorated cookies. Again, Corban and Jayce liked the frosting better then the decorating but we finished them and they were really yummy!!! We decorated butterflies, bunnies and easter eggs with pink purple and yellow frosting!! Now if I could just quit eating them!!
It was so fun being with the boys and having their help in the kitchen. They are my little cooking buddies!! Thanks Heather for sharing the boys with "Ramma"!
On Saturday Aunt Sam came over to the house and brought each of the boys Easter baskets! The boys loved everything that was in them especially the wind-up bubble gum "pooping chicken" but most of all I think Corban loved seeing Aunt Sam and giving her hugs!! (watch out Matt you have some competition!!)
Today (Sunday), after we had dinner Grandpa said he saw a big bunny in the backyard so we all went out in the back and the Easter Bunny had hopped to Grandma & Grandpa's house early with Easter baskets for the boys. Corban found lots of eggs that the Easter bunny hid. We had lots of fun playing in the yard since the temputure was about 65!!
We are so "hoppy" we got to spend an "early Easter" with the boys!! I think there is just one more Easter thing left to do and thats color eggs!!! Monday sounds good since this "Ramma" is a little pooped!!!
