Primary Prayer

Today Corban said the prayer in Primary! This was his first church prayer and he did so good. He was excited that he got to talk in the microphone. When he got up to say the prayer he stood there, folded his arms and closed his eyes and then said (really close to the microphone) "Ha, Ha, Ha" (at which time Heather helped him say) "Heavenly Father" and then he pretty much said the rest on his own. He blessed that "we have a good day", "bless the teachers" and "bless the missionaries.....AMEN" His amen was the loudest amen ever! One little boy in the back started clapping for Corban and me of course had tears in my eyes!!
After church the kids came to our house for dinner and yes Corban volunteered to bless the food. He says the cutest prayers and they are really heart felt. We love having them come over every Sunday, not only for visits and dinner but because Corban always wants to say the dinner prayer and that lets the rest of us off the hook!! Sometimes Jonas will pretend he wants to say the blessing and its a five minute arguement but in the end Corban always wins!!
We are so proud of him and we are so blessed to have him & Jayce in our lives!!! We love them sooooo much!!!!!

Meagan and Family

This is our niece Meagan and her husband Dave with kiddies Kaelah, Morgan and Miles (or as Corban says "Baby Smiles"). We got to see Baby Smiles for the first time on Halloween 2008. He is such a happy baby and big sisters Kaelah and Morgan are sooooo beautiful!! Hopefully we will get to see and spend some time with them in 2009. The girls are so smart and talented (like I said earlier, I have the most beautiful, smart and talented nieces and nephews!) They are so smart in school and they stay busy after school keeping their Mom running them everywhere. Miles "smiles :) " has learned to crawl and pull himself up so he really keeps his Mom on her toes!! Thanks for letting me share some of my nieces and nephews with you!

Dakota & Delaney

So, I am taking down the Photo Christmas Cards and thought I would share with everyone. This is my niece and nephew Delaney and Dakota. I am so proud of them they are both very beautiful and smart. Dakota (8th grade) played basketball on Wednesday and was starting on the Varsity team, he scored 3 3-point shots as well as several 2 pointers for a total of 12 points, then he played starter J.V. where he scored 2o points!! He is so good at any sports he plays!! He also made high-honors with a g.p.a. of 3.87!! Delaney (3rd grade) passed her principal division test with a 100%, she is 1 of 3 kids in her class that have been accepted to the Peak Program (for smart kids only!). She is also doing competive cheerleading and will be attending a USA competition in February. I will keep you posted on how she does. They are such fun! I love them so very much!!!!!

I'm Finally A Blogger

Well, I finally did it............with a lot of Heather's help :) Thanks Sis!!! I have looked at all of Heathers family and friends blogs and you are all so creative and your kids are all adorable!! There is not much to say when your kids are grown but there are so many things to "brag" about when you are a Grandma (the best job in the universe!), so I thought I would blog about mostly being a Grandma so that some of you will some day look forward to it, or if you are already a Grandma you will know what I am talking about. I also have some very beautiful, talented nieces and nephews so I am sure I will be bragging about them as well.........you can't stop me now!!!! I'm sure I could talk about my children and husband as well.
First....-funny thing Corban said- :) Yesterday Heather and family came over for dinner after church and Corban was running around playing and then he said "I need to poop" he goes into the bathroom and is doing his business and yells for me to come see him. I grabbed a little sucker for him to keep him occupied while sitting there and when I open the door he "shoots" me with his pistol finger, so I say "Oh, you shot me...............(he shoots me again as I am falling to the floor) "You shot me again........."still falling to the floor (shoots me again) so now I am "almost dead" laying on the bathroom floor as he is sitting on the potty and I say "I..........had.........a.......surprise........for........you.........(now I am dead!) He sits there for a little while and then he leans over and whispers what I think will be "Sorry Ramma" but instead he whispers....."Ramma, wipe my bum!!! and give me my surprise!!!" Needless to say I wiped his bum and gave him a sucker...........all was well!!
I am so lucky to have such two cute, funny little grandsons!! They are a blessng and a joy to my life!!! I love that Heather and I live so close to each other and I get to see or talk to my "babies" several times a day. There is nothing like getting hugs and kisses from them!!!
So, all in all life is great when you are a "Ramma"
