Primary Prayer

Today Corban said the prayer in Primary! This was his first church prayer and he did so good. He was excited that he got to talk in the microphone. When he got up to say the prayer he stood there, folded his arms and closed his eyes and then said (really close to the microphone) "Ha, Ha, Ha" (at which time Heather helped him say) "Heavenly Father" and then he pretty much said the rest on his own. He blessed that "we have a good day", "bless the teachers" and "bless the missionaries.....AMEN" His amen was the loudest amen ever! One little boy in the back started clapping for Corban and me of course had tears in my eyes!!
After church the kids came to our house for dinner and yes Corban volunteered to bless the food. He says the cutest prayers and they are really heart felt. We love having them come over every Sunday, not only for visits and dinner but because Corban always wants to say the dinner prayer and that lets the rest of us off the hook!! Sometimes Jonas will pretend he wants to say the blessing and its a five minute arguement but in the end Corban always wins!!
We are so proud of him and we are so blessed to have him & Jayce in our lives!!! We love them sooooo much!!!!!

  1. He is so cute. I bet it was totally precious. I love listening to my kids say the prayer. They say the darndest things... Sometimes it takes everything in mine and Rory's power not to bust out laughing in the middle of the prayer!

  2. I LOVE LITTLE KIDS PRAYERS. KELLA ALWAYS PRAYS THAT MOM WILL CHANGE HER MIND AND LET HER GET A DOG OR SOME OTHER TYPE OF ANIMAL. AS IF SHE DOESN'T ALREADY HAVE ENOUGH PETS! THE LORD MUST BE ON MY SIDE WITH THIS ONE BECAUSE I HAVEN'T HAD ANY DIVINE INTERVENTION TO CHANGE MY MIND YET!:) ARE THEY IN YOUR WARD OR DID YOU GO WITH THEM JUST TO HEAR HIM PRAY? YOUR SUCH A CUTE GRANDMA!

  5. Ok Peggy! I don't ever want to be called the Clampets again!!!:) I do feel like a redneck though when stuff like that happens around here. And no Kyle will not be able to hang it from his rear view mirror. If anything that thing would bring him bad luck. Poor cat! I took a picture of the severed limb but thought it would be a little too much for the blogging world!!
